Services would not happen without the support of a wide range of volunteers and donations, which include but are not limited to the following groups:
- Flower arranging
- Cleaning rota
- Recognized Church Volunteers
- Guest Speakers
- Tea & Coffee Servers
If you would like to get involved please speak to a member of the PCC or Revd Pat Woods.
We also have some limited paid roles, due to the nature of the work and the skills/experience required, on a contractor basis, eg Verger and Organist.
Apart from the role of Organist for Sunday Services, these are appointed for specific work undertaken at ad hoc events, such as Weddings and Funerals.
A fixed fee is paid for the work agreed, upon production of an invoice, inline with Charity Law and church regulations.
These Contractors are usually appointed at the Annual PCC Meeting.
Guidance on what invoices should include can be found here.
Guidance on income from hobbies can be found here.
Guidance on payments to volunteers (aka expenses) can be found here.
